Renting your
sojourn cottage, nestled in the quiet and serene woods, is like owning
your own place in the beautiful
1000 ISLANDS, right on the
banks of the majestic St. Lawrence river. It's a world of it's own, yet
minutes away from the fine dining and nightlife of ALEXANDRIA
BAY. view

- Sojourn cottages are
FURNISHED to allow
you to enjoy carefree holidays. Fully stocked kitchens, furniture,
double beds and double bunk beds are all provided.

Families- We have a cottage to
fit every family size. Cottages 2 and 3 are on the hillside overlooking
the river, and sleep five people. Cottage 4 is on the river, and sleeps
five people also. Cottages 5,6,7 and 8 are right on the river, and will
sleep six people. There are two large cottages, cottage 1 and the main
cottage, will sleep up to nine people. All cottages except the main
cottage have screened patios, private hot showers, and outside barbecue
equipment. The main cottage has a full bath with tub. Pillows are
provided, but sorry, no linens supplied.

Sojourn
cottages has boat dockage for your own boat, and boat and motor rentals
are available. We also have our own gas pump for your convenience.
Fishermen- world reknowned
FISHING is at your
front door, with catches of large and smallmouth bass, great northern
pike, walleye, and the biggest of all freshwater gamefish, the muskie.
Parents and children alike will love the abundance of, bluegills, and
the tasty yellow perch. Divers- come explore the incredibly clear waters
of the river; the famous wreck "Keystorm" is sitting directly out from
our docks. The 256 foot ship rests in 20 to 115 feet of water, offering
divers a wide variety of terrain and plenty to explore. On site will be
a 26' boat available for dive or fish charters with a U.S. Coastguard certified
captain.

Enjoy
sightseeing to Canada, where the bargains are everywhere, or to nearby
Clayton for the nation's largest antique boat museum, or a short drive
to Ogdensburg to the Fredric Remington Museum and Collection. By the
way, Remington had a summer cottage here in Chippewa Bay, and called it
"The finest place in the world". PS, Pets are welcome!
